Holt playing for the team

Shrewsbury's Grant Holt has played down his upcoming personal landmark of 100 career goals, arguing that the form of the team is of the most importance to him.

Holt's 22 goals this season have taken him to 94 for his career, a total that the 27-year-old is proud of even if it won't be distracting him from his role at the New Meadow.

"It's something I'm definitely looking to try and get sooner rather than later," he explained to BBC Radio Shropshire.

"I'm just going to keep going but it's not about me, it's about the team.

"Hopefully somebody will come and start scoring goals from everywhere and we'll get promoted."
