Shrewsbury got their pre-season preparations off to a winning start by beating Ilfracombe Town 5-1.Ian Sharps opened the scoring after 10 minutes and Matt Harrold and Steve Leslie added further goals before the break.Benjamin Van Den Broek made it 4-0 less than a minute after the restart before Ilfracombe got on the scoresheet.Jake Robinson completed the scoring in the closing stages.
