Wright stars as Shrews tame Bulls

Mark Wright`s hat-trick ensured that Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner enjoyed his first reunion with former club Hereford as Town strolled to a 4-0 victory. Turner, who spent 15 years at Edgar Street, could not have asked for any more from his team as the Football League's bottom club were ruthlessly taken apart. Wright was the star of the show with a high quality treble and he also made the other goal for Shane Cansdell-Sherriff. Hereford's misery was compounded by an 83rd-minute red card for Ryan Green after a reckless challenge on Mat Sadler. Wright, on loan from Bristol Rovers, found the top corner with a 30-yard shot after 14 minutes. He made it 2-0 in the 64th minute with a close-range volley from Sadler`s cross. Wright turned provider after 72 minutes for defender Cansdell-Sherriff to head a third goal, and the winger took his tally for the season into double figures five minutes later with another cool finish after being set up by Matt Harrold.
