Turner targets promotion

Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner insisted his team can still seal an automatic promotion spot despite the frustration of being held to a goalless stalemate by Accrington. Turner's men were never at their best although they fashioned several half chances in a frantic second half, however they are now a point behind third-placed Wycombe with two games remaining. Turner said: "It was frustrating in as much as the first-half performance was very poor. We looked nervy and we always looked capable of throwing in a daft one like that as we've done it previously after a few good results, but I didn't expect it. "I thought we were a lot better in the second half, took the game to Accrington and got ourselves into good positions, but didn't deliver the final ball to produce a good chance. "We've got to accept it's not in our hands but it's not over either. Bury could go up as champions now and to do that they've got to beat Wycombe on Saturday which might open the door for us. "We can only do our own thing, see whether we can take six points from the remaining two games, and just hope the other results go for us."
