Turner makes Bulls return

Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner must decide whether to stick or twist with his starting XI as he returns to former club Hereford for the first time since his short move up the A49 last summer. After watching his Town side lose 3-0 at Aldershot the week previous, Turner made three changes for last Saturday`s comfortable 2-0 home victory over Stockport. Out went - albeit out of form - leading scorers Mark Wright and Matt Harrold as well as on-loan defender Niall Canavan, to be replaced by Lionel Ainsworth, Tom Bradshaw and Shane Cansdell-Sherriff. And with no new injury or suspensions problems expected, Turner must decide whether to keep faith with the same XI who saw off the Hatters or hand a recall to any of his omitted trio. But he will no doubt be expecting a tough test at Edgar Street, a ground he knows all too well having parted ways with Hereford last summer after 15 years service as both manager and then chairman. Both sides need the points for very different reasons, with the Bulls desperate to all but secure their survival while victory for fourth-placed Town would strengthen their promotion prospects.
