Turner looking to learn lessons

Graham Turner accused his Shrewsbury side of showing Chesterfield too much respect following a 4-3 defeat at the B2net Stadium. Goals from Drew Talbot, Jack Lester and Craig Davies shattered the visitors who conceded again when Davies added a second in the 63rd minute. But Mark Wright, Kevin McIntyre and Craig Disley hit back in the last 10 minutes to set up a tense finale. "There was too much acceptance of Chesterfield's dominance and there's a lesson there for us," said Turner. "First of all when we go a goal down we have to stick at it and keep playing at our pace and not let the opposition dictate to us as Chesterfield have done. "We had our problems getting here a bit later than normal because of the motorway being blocked but that wasn't in any way an influence on what happened on the pitch because we had a decent start. "It's difficult to accept and there's some work to be done on defending and we acknowledge Chesterfield being a good side going forward but we've got to do better ourselves."
