Turner happy with point

Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner accepted his team's 1-1 draw with Stevenage as a fair result. Stevenage got themselves off to a dream start with a goal in the eighth minute. Lawrie Wilson found Chris Holroyd in the Shrews' penalty area and he pounced clinically from close range. But Shrewsbury emerged with renewed impetus after the interval and Benjamin Van den Broek crossed for fellow substitute Matt Harrold to apply the finish from 10 yards. "I'm not going to be too down-hearted about getting a draw at Stevenage," said Turner. "They've had a really impressive start to the season so this was potentially a very tricky fixture for us. "In the end maybe a draw was a fair result looking back on the game."
