Simpson stands by Hibbo after miss

Stewart Drummond levelled for the home side after Joss Labadie had put the Shrews in the lead and the point extends Town's unbeaten run to six games, with Simpson's side sitting comfortably in the play-off places.

Simpson said: "It was a good chance and nine times out of 10, Hibbo has stuck those chances away this season.

"But he doesn't need to apologise to anyone for the miss though because he has been terrific for us this season.

"We have to accept that he isn't going to score all the goals for us, but the pleasing thing is that we created a number of good chances.

"It was a good point for us as this is never an easy place to come to and they are on a good unbeaten run at the moment, although after such a good start I thought we could have gone on to win it."
