A striker is high on the club's agenda after the sale of Grant Holt but Simpson has a host of irons in the fire ahead of the visit of Burton.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "There may be some new faces in before next Saturday. We've got good quality in the numbers we've got but I've said before it's quantity where we're lacking at the moment.[LNB]"I've been given the okay to bring in a player on Monday, we've agreed a fee, and there's another player who I'm hopeful of getting, so there could be two new faces in the next 48 hours."[LNB]Simpson was speaking after Shrews' 1-1 draw against Tranmere at Prenton Park, which saw Lewis Neal stretchered off just before the break although the extent of the injury is not yet known.[LNB]An unnamed trialist also played 75 minutes before being replaced by Omer Riza, Simpson added: "I was really impressed with the trialist. I'll need to speak to the player and his agent to see what their thoughts are and what the lad wants to do. He could be a handful so hopefully we can keep hold of him."[LNB][LNB]
