Simpson: Make or break for Shrews

04 February 2010 16:50
Town start with a trip to Macclesfield this weekend and Simpson, who will also discover on Saturday whether he has won League Two's manager of the month award for January, insists his side must focus purely on their own game.[LNB]"The league is so tight and there are still so many teams who have a sniff of being involved in the play-offs," he told Shrews Player.[LNB]"We still believe we've got an opportunity to get an automatic spot and I know people outside of this football club will probably smile at that and think we're talking rubbish. But I don't care what anybody else thinks, it's about us doing our jobs properly.[LNB]"We've got a run of games now with Macclesfield and then Barnet and Hereford at home, great games for us if we approach them properly. Then they are followed by three games against Bury away, Rotherham away and Bournemouth at home.[LNB]"After these six games we'll get a real good indication of where we are. We can be in a strong position if we go and do our job properly."[LNB][LNB]
