Simpson: Let's not be daft about it

Simpson is hoping fans will keep a lid on the hostilities that last season boiled over at times, while he is also hoping for a different result to the 2-1 defeat. "Last year's game had a fantastic atmosphere inside the ground made by both set of supporters," he told the club's official website. "Unfortunately it was tinged with a little bit of disruption that we can do without this weekend with the fans invading the pitch and the animosity. "We want there to be a competitive edge on the pitch and also off the pitch but we all need to be careful and not let it get carried away, and not get daft about it like it did at some points last year. "We also lost the game through a dubious decision at the end. But we are in a new season and I want a new result."
