The influential Shrews defender was making his return to action having served a two-game ban for collecting 10 bookings throughout the course of the season.[LNB]But he failed to see out the encounter having been given his marching orders 15 minutes from time for hauling down Chris Dagnall after being robbed of possession by the Dale striker.[LNB]Cansdell-Sherriff will now serve another one-match ban, and Simpson said: "It was stupid, childish - the sort of thing you don't expect to see on a park pitch.[LNB]"We need every player available and when he goes and does something as ridiculous as that, well, we couldn't even cope with Rochdale with 11 players and had no chance with 10."[LNB]Meanwhile, Shrewsbury retained the honour of League Two's Family Club of the Year at the Football League Awards on Sunday night.[LNB][LNB]
