Jake Robinson netted a brace while Andre Gray grabbed the other to put Shrews out of sight with just 32 minutes on the clock at The Hawthorns on Monday night.[LNB]Andres Arestidou, Kevin McIntyre, Harry Hooman, Kris Bright and Lewis Neal also featured, among others, and Simpson was left impressed by what he saw.[LNB]"It was a very good performance from our young side against a good Albion team," he told Town's official website. "I was delighted with the way we went about the game and for Jake Robinson to get two goals and to keep a clean sheet.[LNB]"Anyone who is pushing for a place in the first team will have done themselves no harm."[LNB]Shrews were given a scare, however, when Bright rolled his ankle in the first half but he was taken off at the interval purely as a precautionary measure.[LNB][LNB]
