Simpson blasts his side's defence

Bournemouth were gifted victory via Brett Pitman's inswinging corner which completely caught out Shrews goalkeeper Luke Daniels - who was hopelessly out of position - as he watched the ball sail over his head and into the goal.[LNB]Simpson said: "Luke might have got trapped in amongst the traffic but there were plenty of other people there as well.[LNB]"It was a disgusting goal to give away, the result of some really pathetic defending. Unfortunately we have a soft underbelly which is not acceptable, we have aspirations to talk about promotion at this club and I have not come here to scrap away in League Two.[LNB]"It's something that needs to be addressed and there are a few players at this club with contracts coming up and I don't think they realise how close they could be to going out of professional football."[LNB]Simpson saw Darren Moss sent off in injury time for kicking out at Pitman and added: "If you lash out and you have to go, you can't blame the referee, the fault is Darren's and it just shows it is a sign of his indiscipline."[LNB][LNB]
