Shrewsbury set for changes with survival on the line
Shrewsbury boss Micky Mellon could make changes against Peterborough after admitting he got his selection wrong in Tuesday's 2-1 defeat at Walsall.
Mellon replaced Jack Hendry with Ian Black after just 17 minutes at the Banks's Stadium and midfielder Black could start after shaking off a neck problem following an awkward fall at Gillingham last weekend.
Larnell Cole and Shaun Whalley are also pushing to start after helping Town to an improved second-half performance.
Mickey Demetriou is out for the season with a knee problem as Shrewsbury look for the victory which will guarantee Sky Bet League One survival.
Peterborough caretaker-manager Grant McCann could recall Chris Forrester after he returned to contention having served his one-match ban.
He must also decide whether to risk Michael Bostwick, who could yet earn a suspension if he adds to his 14 bookings.
Jermaine Anderson and Joe Gormley both miss out because of long-term knee injuries, while Jordan Nicholson remains sidelined with a broken leg.
Goalkeeper Ben Alnwick is another fitness doubt, but it is hoped he could yet be available.
