Shrews to keep the faith

Shrewsbury could be unchanged for the visit of Oxford as they look to chase down Sky Bet League Two leaders Burton.

Liam Lawrence started the 4-1 win at Morecambe on Tuesday after almost a month out with bruising on the bone as Town regained second spot.

Andy Mangan returned as a late substitute in midweek after being out since January with a knee problem.

James Wesolowski and Nathaniel Knight-Percival are out for the season with knee injuries.

Oxford will be able to call on top scorer Danny Hylton again when they make the trip.

The forward missed their last two matches through suspension and the U's failed to score in their talisman's absence, meaning a recall to the starting line-up for Hylton looks on the cards.

Tuesday night saw United beaten 2-0 by rock-bottom Hartlepool and the recall of Hylton may not be the only change to the starting line-up as head coach Michael Appleton looks for a response.

James Roberts could be amongst the players recalled as Appleton searches for more firepower.
