Shrews new boys ready to go Jeremy Helan and Jamie Proctor are firmly in contention for their debuts as Shrewsbury play host to Colchester. France Under-19 international winger Helan arrived on a month-long loan deal from Manchester City on Thursday and is set to be involved as Shrews chase a much-needed victory to drag themselves away from the bottom four. Swansea striker Proctor, 20, was then brought in on a one-month loan on Friday and adds another dimension to Town's attacking options. Five-goal leading scorer Marvin Morgan serves the second game of his two-match suspension following his red card at Portsmouth last weekend. The striker missed Tuesday's 3-1 home defeat to Yeovil, which was described by Shrews manager Graham Turner as "probably the most inept performance since I've been at the club". Changes are likely as a result, with Mark Wright, Rob Purdie, Jon Taylor, Aaron Wildig, Tom Bradshaw, Michael Hector and Joe Jacobson all in the frame along with new signings Helan and Proctor. Sanchez Watt is set to make his return to the fold but Colchester will be without another influential name in Anthony Wordsworth. Winger Watt, on loan from Arsenal, missed Tuesday's 2-0 win at Leyton Orient with a knee injury but returned to training on Wednesday and is expected to be fit for the encounter at the Greenhous Meadow. His return is a timely one for manager Joe Dunne as he prepares to be without midfield captain Wordsworth, who picked up his fifth booking of the season after scoring Colchester's opener at Orient and now serves an automatic one-match suspension. Striker Clinton Morrison returns from his three-match ban but is highly unlikely to start. Matt Heath's hamstring injury continues to be assessed while midfielder Kem Izzet remains sidelined with his hip problem.
