AJ Leitch-Smith could feature for Shrewsbury against Chesterfield

AJ Leitch-Smith has returned to training following a hamstring injury and could feature for Shrewsbury at home to Chesterfield.

The striker has missed Town's last two games but made his comeback on Thursday.

Boss Micky Mellon has confirmed some players are suffering from illness but is expected to have a fully-fit squad at Greenhous Meadow.

Stoke loan pair Moha El Ouriachi and George Waring could make their home debuts after joining earlier this week.

Chesterfield have a few minor injury concerns ahead of the trip to Shropshire.

Dion Donohue and Paul McGinn sustained knocks during the midweek win against Swindon while Sam Hird is being given extra rest ahead of Saturday's match. However, Blues boss Danny Wilson thinks all three players will be available.

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has not trained this week due to a bout of illness but the burly striker is expected to resume training shortly.

Left-back Dan Jones has had a setback with his ankle injury and he is undergoing further assessment.
