Shrews wait on Tutte

23 December 2010 02:30
Andrew Tutte will be assessed by Shrewsbury as he looks to make his debut in the Boxing Day clash at home to Bury. The on-loan Manchester City midfielder is yet to pull on a Shrews shirt having been hampered by a back problem since his switch towards the end of November. However, he has not missed much on-field action with matches against Accrington and Oxford postponed and just a 1-1 draw against Cheltenham to keep Town fans warm over the past four-and-a-half wintry weeks. Midfielders Benjamin van den Broek (knee) and Craig Disley (hip) will both miss the entire festive period with their respective injuries. Winger Lionel Ainsworth is likely to get more minutes under his belt and may even start against the Shakers having made an 11-minute cameo upon his return from a groin injury against Cheltenham.
