Shrews snap up young Dutchman

The versatile forward trained with the League Two outfit over the last few weeks before completing the paperwork of his move on Friday.[LNB]The youngster is set to get back into training with his new team-mates before playing for the reserves against Burton next week.[LNB]Simpson told the club's official website: "I'm delighted that we have been able to get Benjamin van den Broek to come over from Holland and agree to join our club.[LNB]"He is a 22-year-old attacking right sided midfielder player, he's not an out and out winger but he plays that role well, and he can also play centrally and had been known to play on the left as well.[LNB]"He had other good offers to go to clubs in Europe, better offers, but he has a dream to play in England and people have said good things about our club and myself and we are pleased he has agreed to join."[LNB][LNB]
