Shrews keen to regain winning feeling

Shrewsbury are not expected to have any new injury problems as they prepare to face Crewe looking to build on a sequence of four draws from their last five games. Graham Turner will assess the usual minor bruises and bumps with Monday`s encounter coming so soon after the New Year`s Day draw at Burton and may well opt to make changes. Midfielder Sean McAllister and reserve goalkeeper Ben Smith had been struggling with illness ahead of the clash but both made the bench. As did defender Dave Raven who had been battling a hip injury, and both he and McAllister may graduate to a starting berth. Andrew Tutte made his debut against the Brewers following his recovery from a back problem and the on-loan midfielder should start against the Railwaymen. Midfielder Benjamin van den Broek and striker Nathan Elder (both knee) are sidelined but Craig Disley (hip) is nearing a return to training. Turner is aiming to extend the loan periods of left-back Mat Sadler and top scorer Mark Wright, although the latter may well be set to complete a move elsewhere with parent club Bristol Rovers keen to sell.
