The forward has been on trial with the League Two club since January but is currently serving a ban imposed on him by the Turkish FA after he walked away from Trabzonspor due to a conflict with the club's manager. But he has impressed Simpson during his time at the ProStar Stadium, featuring in Tuesday's reserve-team friendly defeat at Wolves. And the Shrews boss is looking into whether anything can be done for him to help the club's first team over their last six games of the campaign. "He's had two games now, I think that's the only two games he's had in about the last 16 months," Simpson told ShrewsWorld. "He'll be stronger for it, there's nothing like playing games to get you fitter. You can do all the training and all of the fitness work but it's that sharpness. "He's been breathing out of his backside in the two games that he's played in so far and had to come off but that will stand him in good stead and maybe if we can get something from FIFA then there's maybe an opportunity that we could see him before the end of the season."
