Shrews hope signings inspire change in fortunes

Shrewsbury hope to have signings James Collins and Mark Wright available for the visit of Morecambe. Young striker Collins agreed an 18-month deal from Aston Villa on Friday morning and is expected to go straight into contention as Town look to register what would be only their second victory in seven league games. Wright, meanwhile, is no stranger to Shrews having spent the first half of the season on loan at the Greenhous Meadow and manager Graham Turner will be hoping the midfielder`s paperwork on his permanent arrival from Bristol Rovers is completed in time for him to be involved given his impressive scoring ratio this term. Left-back Mat Sadler, who also saw his original loan spell come to an end after Monday`s disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Crewe, has extended his stay until May and will retain his place in the back four. Turner is set to make changes after his side`s below-par performance against the Alex, with at least one enforced switch following the completion of midfielder Andrew Tutte`s loan spell from Manchester City. Midfielder Craig Disley (hip) has returned to training and is pencilled in for reserve-team action next week, with an eye on next Saturday`s trip to Barnet for his first-team return.
