Simpson watched the League Two leaders cruise to a comprehensive 4-0 victory courtesy of a brace apiece from Craig Dawson and Chris O'Grady.[LNB]"As a football manager it's always tough because your situation is always a perilous one," said Simpson. "I put my trust in a group of players who I thought would go out and perform, and the top and bottom of the matter is that they haven't performed.[LNB]"It was some of our more senior players on the day who let us down and you have to question their desire and will to achieve success.[LNB]"There was no desire from the players. We've had games in the past where we haven't played well but we've chased and harried right through to the end but we didn't even have that. There's no defence for it and we have to take the criticism for that.[LNB]"I've had an embarrassing afternoon coming back to my old club and I feel really let down. It was a horrible day and I couldn't wait to get out of the place."[LNB][LNB]
