Shrews boss reveals huddle reasons

The Shrews came from 2-0 down to rescue a precious 2-2 draw which, although it did not build on their solitary away victory in the league this term, did boost confidence ahead of a crucial run-in as the club look to seal promotion. "I wanted to get everyone together because when you get back to the changing rooms it's very tight and often people are doing different things," he told the club's official website. "It's what I thought was right for the players, I wanted to tell them how well they'd done and how proud I was of the way they'd reacted to a real kick in the guts from the first and second goals. "We definitely deserved a draw and maybe even more out of the game." He added: "There are lots of tough games ahead but if we show that kind of character then we won't go far wrong and I can't ask any more of them."
