Simpson is still smarting from the manner of last weekend's 4-0 thrashing at Rochdale.[LNB]Striker Dave Hibbert has been struggling with a hamstring problem of late but it is hoped he will be available to start having trained this week, while midfielder Lewis Neal has also been involved and will be hoping to feature after his return from a calf injury.[LNB]Goalkeeper Chris Neal (broken finger) is back in full training but the Boxing Day clash will come too soon, while there has been some positive news for Jake Simpson (knee) after it emerged he is unlikely to be sidelined for the full 12 weeks previously predicted.[LNB]"We've got a few injuries but we're not as bad as we have been," Simpson told the club's official website.[LNB]"I need to look at who comes through the rest of the week's training and who I believe will be right for this game. Also taking into account we've got a game two days later.[LNB]"We need a win, it's as simple as that. We're at home, we've had a massive slap across the face at Rochdale, we've had other poor performances and results - we do need to win and we need to give our supporters something to smile about."[LNB][LNB]
