Shrews boss confirms Riza trial
The 29-year-old forward, who is without a club, has been training with Town for some time but is currently unable to play any competitive matches due to a four-month ban handed to him by the Turkish FA relating to his time at former club Trabzonspor.[LNB]But Simpson has been impressed with the former Arsenal and West Ham man, telling Shrews' official website: "I remember Omer from before he went out to play in Turkey and at the time I was interested in him.[LNB]"He went over to Turkey to play, did really well and made it into the national side, but then a new manager came into his club side and he fell out of favour.[LNB]"It is a good opportunity to take a long look at a player with a good pedigree with a view for the long term."[LNB][LNB]
