The former Brighton striker is one of 10 new faces recruited by manager Paul Simpson following last season's play-off final defeat to Gillingham. The Shrews' revamped team have struggled in the early part of the season, picking up just eight points from their first six games. But Robinson was encouraged by Shrewsbury's performance against Bradford on Saturday, despite going down 2-1. "At the start of the season we would have wanted a few more points from the first six games so we are a bit disappointed in that respect," he told the Shropshire Star. "But the performances are starting to kick on now and things are starting to gel and knit together. "If we carry on like Saturday, we will win more than we lose and pick up some good points along the way."
