Langmead pledges future to Shrews

The former striker was converted into a centre-back by previous Shrews boss Gary Peters and has not looked back since. A firm fans favourite, the 24-year-old won the club's 2007 player of the season award and has formed a formidable partnership with Town skipper Graham Coughlan. Manager Paul Simpson told the club's official website: "I am delighted that Kelvin has pledged his future to the club for another two years. I am looking forward to working with him from July 1."
