Imps comments inspired Shrews win

Goals from Jake Robinson and Dave Hibbert saw Paul Simpson's side record back-to-back victories that fired the Shropshire club into the play-off places. Phillips - who returns to parent club Bristol Rovers next week after a month-long stay at the club - says the remarks gave his side an extra incentive to win the match. "We read a bit in the programme about us having a so-called big budget and that we were only a good team because Hibbo (Dave Hibbert) is the main player and he's scoring," Phillips told the Shropshire Star. "We don't need any more firing up because we have got a fantastic team camaraderie and everyone puts it in for everyone else. I think we shoved that back in their faces a little bit. "I thought we were outstanding all over the pitch. Any away game in any division isn't easy and I think they fancied themselves."
