Released Wycombe striker Matt Harrold has joined Shrewsbury on a two-year deal. The 25-year-old, who has made over 200 career appearances with Brentford, Yeovil, Southend and Wycombe, passed a medical on Tuesday morning before sealing a move to Greenhous Meadow. "I'm delighted to have got a striker of Matt's experience on board with us," manager Graham Turner told Shrewsbury's official website. "The injuries to Kris Bright and Nathan Elder have left us a little light up front and Matt is exactly what I was looking for. "He has arrived at a good time, allowing him to be involved in all the pre-season games which will help him gain his fitness and settle in at the football club."
