Geohaghon worry for Shrews

Shrewsbury are sweating on the fitness of on-loan defender Exodus Geohaghon for the visit of Southend. The Peterborough centre-half picked up a knee injury in last week's 1-1 draw with Stevenage and has not trained all week. But boss Graham Turner is keen for him to play and will give him until the last moment to prove his fitness. Fit-again defender Ian Sharps is hoping to earn a recall after he had to settle for a place on the bench last week following a hamstring injury. Winger Lionel Ainsworth will not be fit as he battles a groin injury but defender Dave Raven (groin) and Tom Bradshaw (ankle) have returned to fitness and are hoping to be a part of Turner's plans. The Shrews are unbeaten at home this season having won five of their seven League Two clashes.
