Garner eyeing first-team spot
Garner spent most of the season on the bench as on-loan West Brom keeper Luke Daniels impressed between the posts.
But Daniels has now returned to the Hawthorns and Garner hopes that despite manager Paul Simpson looking for a replacement, he can hold down a first-team place:
"Last season was disappointing but all you can do is keep your head down and work hard," the former Welsh international told the Shropshire Star.
"It's the gaffer's decision who plays and you just have to accept it.
"I'm sure another goalkeeper will come in but all I can do is my best in pre-season and see if it's enough."
