Double despair for Turner

Shrewsbury will be without Benjamin van den Broek for their trip to Oxford while Andrew Tutte has not yet recovered from injury. Midfielder Van den Broek, a second-half substitute in last weekend`s 1-1 draw against Cheltenham, damaged knee ligaments while playing for Town`s reserves in midweek and is now facing four to five weeks on the sidelines. Loan signing Tutte missed the chance to make his debut against the Robins having been struck down with a back problem, and although he made a return to training at the start of this week he suffered an adverse reaction and will again watch from the sidelines. Craig Disley, another midfield casualty for boss Graham Turner, has discovered his hip injury is worse than first feared and may require surgery, meaning he also misses out at the Kassam Stadium. Winger Lionel Ainsworth is in line for more game time having made an 11-minute cameo upon his return from a groin injury last Saturday.
