The midfielder sustained another knee injury during Wednesday night's reserve-team outing against Port Vale and recent examinations by the club's medical staff have initially suggested he may be out for up to six weeks. A clearer picture will be known on Monday when he is set to undergo a scan. Fellow midfielder Lewis Neal got another hour under his belt in the 1-1 draw against Vale and could play a bigger role this week than he did in the 2-0 triumph at Lincoln last Saturday, where he came on as a 71st-minute substitute. As it stands, the clash at the Prostar will be goalkeeper Steve Phillips' penultimate game for the club, with his current month-long deal set to expire after Tuesday's trip to Cheltenham. Otherwise, keepers Chris Neal (groin) and Glyn Garner (shoulder), defender Mike Jackson (bone bruising), midfielder Terry Dunfield (shoulder) and striker Omer Riza (ankle) are all still out.
