Collins in for Shrews

Shrewsbury will be able to call upon James Collins for their trip to Bradford. The striker was due to link-up with the Republic of Ireland`s Under-21 squad for their friendly in Portugal on Friday evening, but he withdrew earlier this week after Shrews boss Graham Turner instead asked for him to be made available for the club`s promotion bid. However, Turner will be unable to hand a debut to new loan signing Niall Canavan after he was drafted into the Irish Under-21 set-up on Tuesday afternoon. Fellow defender Jermaine Grandison also remains unavailable as he serves the second game of a three-match suspension for the red card received at Torquay. David Raven stepped in for last weekend`s 1-1 draw against Wycombe and is again expected to keep his place in the Shrews rearguard, with Turner likely to keep the same XI who drew against their promotion rivals at the Greenhous Meadow.
