Bradshaw saves Shrews

A dramatic late strike from teenage substitute Tom Bradshaw earned Shrewsbury a 1-1 draw with Cheltenham. Shrewsbury came flying out the traps and Cheltenham goalkeeper Scott Brown saved well from League Two player of the month Mark Wright. But Cheltenham recovered from their shaky start and Wesley Thomas scored his ninth goal of the season when he was given time on the edge of the box and curled a neat right-foot shot inside the far post. Shrewsbury were out of sorts and with Josh Low and David Bird commanding the midfield for the visitors, the Shrews found it hard to break down a resolute defence. Wright and Jake Robinson had shots blocked, before Kevin McIntyre saw a shot deflected just wide. Shrewsbury threw on two strikers for the final 10 minutes and Wales Under-19 international Bradshaw saved the day with a header from near the penalty spot.
