Alexander eyeing Boxing Day win
The Shrews were thumped 4-0 at Rochdale at the weekend and are currently working hard to beat the big freeze and ensure their clash with the Silkmen goes ahead as scheduled.[LNB]Alexander said: "I understand the officials at Shrewsbury are hopeful the game on Boxing Day will go ahead.[LNB]"That's good news although we need to be wary of a bit of a backlash given they got well beaten by Rochdale at the weekend.[LNB]"But at the same time our confidence is high and just like for any away game, if we can go there, keep the home fans quiet early on we're confident of picking up a result."[LNB][LNB]
