Winger blow for Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday winger Jermaine Johnson has been ruled out for at least four weeks with a knee injury.

The Jamaica international damage his medial ligament during the Owls' 2-0 Championship victory over Blackpool on November 25.

"It's a real blow to us because we know what he's all about and we know what he can give us," admitted manager Brian Laws.

"He limped off against Blackpool and we felt it was only a minor injury, but it looks like it's worse than that.

"It looks like he's done some damage to the medial ligament and that will keep him out for at least four weeks."
