Wednesday to face a Bolton side buoyed by their first win

Trotters Vs Owls: Team news & preview

Sheffield Wednesday travel to the Reebok Stadium on Saturday still searching for their first win of the 2013/14 season.

The Owls welcome young Arsenal goalkeeper Damian Martinez into their squad for the first time following his loan move from the Premier League club. Wednesday number 1 Chris Kirkland has been in good form despite the Owls' poor start to the season but is said to have been suffering with an illness this week and although he is expected to play Martinez is on standby to make his debut.

Left-back and current captain Reda Johnson limped out of Wednesday's last match suffering from a groin strain and is doubtful for the trip west. Joe Mattock could make his first appearance of the season in place of the popular Benin international defender.

Midfielder David Prutton picked up an ankle injury in training this week and is expected to be out of contention for at least a month.

Bolton could welcome Brazilian midfielder Andre Moritz and French striker David N'Gog back into their side following injury lay offs but midfielder Stuart Holden, who spent a period on loan with the Owls last season, faces another prolonged spell on the sidelines. Another former Wednesday player, Chris Eagles, is fit but the winger may have to settle for a place on the bench as has been the case in recent matches.

Wanderer's picked up their first win of the season last time out at Birmingham City, a result which clawed them out of the bottom three and above the Owls in the Championship table. They have drawn 3 and lost 2 at home to date this season.

Wednesday have drawn 6 of their 10 league matches so far with 3 of those points coming from their five away games. Dave Jones' side are yet to keep a clean sheet this season.

The Owls enjoyed a 1-0 win at the Reebok Stadium on Boxing Day last season but were beaten 2-1 by Wanderers at Hillsborough last September. Prior to last seasons victory Wednesday had lost 4 times in a row away to Bolton.
