Soares extends Owls stay

Sheffield Wednesday have pounced to keep Tom Soares at the club until the end of the current campaign.
The Stoke City man has been at the Hillsborough-based club since November and has impressed new boss Alan Irvine significantly enough to extend his stay.
Soares has made seven appearances and he is expected to feature in the midweek Championship clash at Scunthorpe United.
Speaking to the club's website, Irvine said: "He has really impressed me in the short time I have been at the club so far.
"He will prove a very important addition to the squad for the busy schedule of fixtures we have to come."
