Defensive problems for JonesSheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones is hoping either Lewis Buxton or Kieran Lee can shake off their respective injuries in time to face Hull.Buxton has been sidelined with a hamstring strain and Lee has missed out due to a foot problem, leaving Jones to employ winger Jermaine Johnson at right-back in the last two matches.Defender Reda Johnson is still out with a long-term foot injury and if neither Buxton or Lee can play, Jermaine Johnson will continue out of position.Chris Lines remains a long-term absentee due to a troublesome groin, but fellow midfielder Rhys McCabe (thigh) came through unscathed after playing the second half of the midweek draw at Burnley and will be in contention to start.Jones, who has no other new injury or suspension problems, is expected to retain Jay Bothroyd up front alongside Chris O'Grady, who scored twice at Turf Moor on Tuesday night. The Owls halted a run of five straight league defeats at Burnley and are chasing their first win in six.Hull manager Steve Bruce may be forced to change his side's formation as Alex Bruce and James Chester are ruled out and fellow defender Joe Dudgeon is doubtful.Bruce was forced out of the midweek home defeat to Blackpool due to a groin injury, Chester remains sidelined with a hamstring strain and Dudgeon is struggling with a knee problem.Boss Bruce has employed a 3-5-2 formation for most of this season but injuries and a run of three straight defeats has forced a rethink.Liam Rosenior and Andy Dawson are poised for recalls at right-back and left-back respectively, with Paul McShane likely to partner Abdoulaye Faye at the heart of a four-man defence.Seyi Olofinjana (hamstring) came through the full 90 minutes against Blackpool and should resume in midfield.Striker Matty Fryatt (Achilles) is not yet ready to return while defender Jack Hobbs and midfielder Tom Cairney (both knee) remain sidelined.
