Owls parade new boys

Sheffield Wednesday's new loan signings Stuart Holden and Seyi Olofinjana will go straight into the squad to face derby rivals Barnsley.

Holden, who has made only three appearances for Bolton this season due to a knee injury, will stay with the club until April 24.

Olofinjana, signed on loan until the end of the season, teams up for a third time with Owls manager Dave Jones, who was his boss at Wolves and Cardiff.

Jones must decide whether to include either player in his starting line-up or name them among his substitutes.

The Owls will be without winger Michail Antonio, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season after sustaining a groin injury in the defeat to Cardiff last time out.

Midfielder Giles Coke is still struggling with a foot injury, but winger Jermaine Johnson has returned unscathed from international duty with Jamaica and is pushing for a recall as the Owls look to leapfrog Barnsley in their battle for survival.

Barnsley will be without on-loan striker Chris O'Grady.

O'Grady has scored twice in eight appearances for Barnsley since arriving in January, but will not feature at Hillsborough.

Manager David Flitcroft is expected to choose two from Chris Dagnall, Jason Scotland and Marlon Harewood to start up front in O'Grady's absence.

Midfielder Stephen Dawson, on the bench in the two previous matches, is hoping to make his first start since damaging ankle ligaments in January.

But the Redswill be without injured defenders Jim McNulty and Scott Golbourne.

McNulty has missed the last five games with an ankle injury, while Golbourne's season came to an early end last month due to knee ligament damage.

Defender Bobby Hassell is pushing for a recall after heading the winner against Watford last time out, while midfielders Tomasz Cywka and Ryan Tunnicliffe, on loan from Manchester United, are also in contention.
