Irvine's side went down narrowly at Nottingham Forest on Saturday, but the Scot has no new injury or suspension problems and is unlikely to make many, if any, changes. American right-back Frank Simek is expected to retain his place after being handed a rare start this season at Forest. Lewis Buxton is sidelined with a hamstring strain. Winger Jermaine Johnson is still nursing a hamstring injury and midfielder Tommy Miller is struggling with a similar problem. Dutch winger Etienne Esajas is hoping for a recall after replacing Michael Gray midway through the second half on Saturday, while Leon Clarke is vying with Luke Varney and Marcus Tudgay for a starting place up front.
