Marcus Tudgay came through the ranks at Derby County FC and made his senior debut in the August of 2002. In his four years at the club he made a total of 99 appearances, scored 18 goals and started on 59 occasions. His final goal for the Rams was in a match against Sheffield Wednesday before his move in 2006.
