Owls star relishing competition

The signing of the former Ipswich midfielder means competition will be fierce in the engine room at Hillsborough but O'Connor is confident that will be of benefit to Brian Laws' men. He told the club's official website: "If we have competition for all places than that can only be good for Sheffield Wednesday. "The last couple of months of the season, I didn't do myself justice but I'm Looking forward to a fresh start and I can't wait to get going."
