Sheffield Wednesday have snapped up West Bromwich Albion midfielder Ronnie Wallwork on a free transfer after he was released by the Baggies.
Wallwork, 30, has signed a contract until the end of the season after spending five-and-a-half years at The Hawthorns.
The Owls' boss Brian Laws is pleased with his signing, telling the club's official website: "We've been talking about Ronnie Wallwork coming here for some time now."
Wallwork has been out of favour this season and the majority of the last campaign at the Black Country outfit, after being a pivotal figure in previous seasons. He was named their player-of-the-season in the 2004-05 campaign.
