Owls looking to add to squad

Sheffield Wednesday are expected to open talks with a potential new signing in the next couple of days. The Owls have already secured the services of Michael Morrison, Reda Johnson, Gary Madine and Mark Reynolds in the January transfer window and vice-chairman Paul Aldridge has strongly hinted there will be more arrivals on the way to Hillsborough in the near future."I`m not actually talking to anyone at the moment," he told The Star."I`m expecting the shout to start those discussions in the next 24-48 hours, on one player. There are a number of players we are looking at."Alan (Irvine) is very detailed in his due diligence and speaks to a lot of people. He treats the money almost like his own; I`m the same."If the players he`s looking at don`t come up to what he thinks we need, I won`t be starting those discussions, but I`m hoping there will be another player in this week."
