Owls extend keeper stay

Sheffield Wednesday have extended the loan stay of Everton goalkeeper Iain Turner to a second month.

Turner, 23, has made six appearances for the Owls since arriving at Hillsborough in February and will now remain with the Championship side for a further four weeks.

"I'm delighted to take Iain Turner for another month," Owls boss Brian Laws told the club's official website.

"He has been exceptionally good for us in his time here and the move has been good for both parties."

The Scotland international has been loaned out to Chester City, Doncaster Rovers, Wycombe Wanderers and Crystal Palace during his time at Goodison Park.
