Published : 23 Feb 2010 14:54:48
Sheffield Wednesday forward Jermaine Johnson could miss this weekend's crunch clash at fellow strugglers Reading. The Jamaica International has been absent from the last seven games due to a hamstring injury but is now working with the club's physios, along with fellow injury absentee Francis Jeffers, and the duo are both close to a return to full training."It shouldn't be too long before they're back training with us," manager Alan Irvine told the Sheffield Star. "I wouldn't rule out either being available for Saturday; but if I was a betting man, I wouldn't bet on it."Meanwhile, Tommy Miller, who has been struggling with a hamstring injury, missed the opportunity to build up his match fitness after Tuesday's reserve team game against Shrewsbury was postponed due to snow.
